happy birthday to Hal

a few facts:

1. the older you get, the less you want to celebrate your birthday because you simply do not want to be reminded of your age

2. there is a delicate balance between expectation and disappointment

3. the very first "happy birthday" is usually greeted by an unexpected someone

4. you care because it is your birthday; you do not mind because she is your best friend

5. i would highly prefer Hal than Dora
